This involves hardware design, such as selecting components, drawing schematics, and creating the physical layout of the circuit boards. Simultaneously, software development is underway, which includes writing the necessary firmware or application code, implementing control algorithms, and setting up communication protocols. The successful completion of this phase results in a fully integrated, functional prototype where the electronics and programming work together seamlessly according to the initial specifications.
